Well, they say that scientists at the University of California ( Led by Xiang Zhang) are coming closer to developing an invisibilty cloak- rendering the wearer invisible.
They say that Scientists have been able to previously cloak very thin 2D objects, but this is the closest they’ve come do cloaking a 3D object. Apparently it involves lighting… Pretty amazing stuff, huh? I thought that was only in Harry Potter…
At any rate, this could provide a significant advantage to the US military, but one wouldn’t want to get the cloaks in the hands of terrorist organizations- that could end up very bad.

It looks as though I’ll be shelling out the cash… Oh well.
Yeah, somebody actually performed one of the largest computer hacks ever in military history… and it was done on a 56K connection, from his home computer.
I had heard of this a while back as a rumor, but thought nothing of it. After all, how could a small company even dent the empire that is Nintendo?
Well, apparently they did.
According to those guys, they had thought up the idea first- it’s a classic example of a sue case. “I thought it before they did”. And here’s what really gets me- the Game Cube came out years ago. Why didn’t they sue then?
Well, they must have done it for the money. It’s a shame, too. Wii has been going through a hard time recently, and this certainly didn’t help them.
So what should they do next? I say that they should re-design the Classic Controller. After all, it wasn’t exactly the most comfortable controller, and could use some improvement. Perhaps we could look upon this as a positive thing rather than a negative.
As for the Game Cube controllers, the Game Cube has died. Any semi-serious Nintendo fan already has a Game Cube controller anyway.

And that takes us on to our next topic: Nintendo’s already planning a second Wii. Click here for details.
“We are always preparing for the next hardware,” Iwata told Forbes. “We are under development. … But the hardware is a kind of box that consumers reluctantly buy in order to play our games.”
Personally, I hope that for the next console, Nintendo loses the motion-sensing and goes back to good old controllers. It’ll encourage developers to make more games for the system, I believe.

Alas, it’s back to the classics for me.
When I was little, I had quite an impressive N64 game collection. Unfortunately, they were all lost when I moved, with the exception of two Star Wars games.
Slowly, I’m beginning to regain my collection. I just bought Banjo Kazooie and Rayman 2, both for the N64. Rayman 2 and Ocarina of Time happen to be my 2 most favorite games in existence.
When you’re little, you have no idea of the process of game making, and that you’re just seeing pixels. This, luckily, makes it all the more magical. Not to mention that I really used my imagination, and thought anything was possible.
Did I get far when I was young? No. But what I did see was amazing. This was only backed up with my love of pirates at the time.
And so, with 23 dollars left, I headed to Record Exchange (One of the best stores ever), and bought the two games, as well as Alice in Chain’s Dirt. (The album, of course)
I’ve gotten pretty far into Rayman 2, and I just started playing Banjo as well. I just thought I’d offer a quick little update.

And let me be the first to say: HOLY CRAP. There’s so many games coming out, and so little time!
I followed G4 TV’s coverage of E3, primarily on On Demand. There’s a lot of games that struck my fancy, and looked really, really good.
First off, here’s the titles that caught my eye: (In order. And remember, just becuase they caught my eye does not mean that I want ‘em)
1. Resident Evil 5- Wow. Another R.E., eh? If it’s anything like Resident Evil 4, I’ll be blown away. From what I’ve seen, the game looks amazing, both gamplay wise and gaphics wise. I know that there has been a lot of controversy over the whole “killing black people in Africa”. But seriously guys, race shouldn’t be an issue any longer. A lot of videogames kill white people, (And RE 4 killed Latin guys), so why is there so much hype? Keep the race issue out of games, and just enjoy ‘em. They’re not racist, you’re just killing mutant zombies in a different country. It keeps the games fresh- new locations are good. And you’re not going to have asian people in Africa, now are you?
2.High School Musical 3: Senior Year (DS), High School Musical 3: Senior Year Dance (PC, PS2, Wii, X360) They’re actually making more of this crap? Well, it’ll probably sell. But they need to stop making them. The movies were bad enough.
3.Mercenaries 2: World in Flames (PC, PS3, X360)
Now thats what I’m talking about. This looks to improve on the first. (Which was amazing) With more vehicles, weapons, and characters, (Not to mention a giant, fully destructible world) this game looks to be absolutely amazing. It’ll be the next game I get, without a doubt. I love free-roaming games similar to Mercenaries, and this one looks to not dissapoint.
4. Spore (PC)
Now you have to had heard about Spore? Who didn’t? I had the trial of the creator alone, and it looks absolutely amazing. 1000’s of possible combinations, along with to being able to roam around a world created by you and other users is absolutely amazing. I’d get it, but my PC probably can’t handle it. (It couldn’t run Oblivion) What a shame. I was looking forward to it. Of course, if it can run the trial, perhaps it can run the real thing.
5. Banjo-Kazooie: Nuts & Bolts (X360)
Being a huge fan of the N64 games, I cannot wait until this one comes out. I practically grew up on Banjo Kazooie! From the little that I’ve seen, it looks amazingly fun. I can’t wait.
6. Gears of War 2 (X360)One word: Wow. This one adds some awesome new characters, and more colors as well. The only problem I have with it is that the game play looks to be the same- nothing new. Oh well, I’ll still probably get it.
7. Halo Wars (X360)
Well, it looks as though this may be my first RTS game. I’m not usually a fan, but this looks impressive. Something about controlling people and vehicles from the Halo universe sounds extremely interesting and fun. The controls look good, as well as the game play. I’m definitely putting it on my list of games to get, although it’s not coming out in quite a while.
8. Viva Piñata: Trouble in Paradise (X360)
When I saw this, I almost fainted. I am a huge fan of the original, and this looks absolutely amazing. If you say that this game is only for kids, you’ve clearly never played it. It’s one of the most addicting games out there. And with 30 new Pinatas, and several environments, this game looks absolutely spectacular. I can’t wait to get it.
9. LittleBigPlanet (PS3)
Although I don’t have a PS3, this game looks to be one of the most unique and fun games I’ve ever seen. Being able to create your own little levels and play them with fun little characters is very appealing. Too bad I won’t be able to play it.
10. Animal Crossing 2 (Wii, ?)
Although not listed, this game also looks really good. I’m a big fan of the one for the Game Cube, and cannot wait for it to come out. However, it seems a long way away, as we only got a short little video of it. (Along with no release date) So, I’ll just have to wait until this one surfaces a little more.
11. Wii Music \
Another not-listed. This looks interesting, although I’m not sure how the controls will work out. Dependent on reviews, I may get it. I suppose I’ll have to wait and see.
12. Guitar Hero 4
Rather than Rock Band 2, I decided on GH 4. While RB 2 is sort of samey, Guitar Hero 4 looks to set things apart with custom songs and a new drum set, not to mention many of RB’s features.
So, you saw what I was interested in, but which games am I planning to buy soon?
I just wanted to tell you guys about something I recently found called “vNes”. (Virtual NES) And, quite frankly, it does what the title suggests- it’s a NES on your computer.
It has tons of titles to play, and is quite addicting. I’d recommend it to any old school Nintendo fan who wishes to enjoy popular titles from their computer.
Obviously, the controls are very simple. Ctrl, x, z, and Enter.
I originally found the link through a Newground’s member’s signature, although I can’t remember which one. (Sorry! XD)
Now, I’m left wondering how anyone could possibly accomplish such a task, and if they’ve ever gotten sued. Don’t get me wrong- they list the full title, the release date, and the publisher. But you know how some people are.
I’ve just released the Clock Crew Uprising Trailer onto Newgrounds.com, and here. You can view it on the Flash Animation page. On Newgrounds, it’s score was a bit of a roller coaster. It started at 2.80, rose to 3.20, dropped a bit, gained a bit, and then finally settled at 2.72, I believe.
Although I never have expectations for any of my Flash’s turn-outs, I must say that I am a bit disappointed of it’s score. I attribute it’s downfall due to the Anti-Clock controversy. People think that it is meant to be against the Clock Crew.
Let me be the first to say that it absolutely is not against the Clock Crew. I’m just simply trying to make an entertaining story. (Clock Crew vs. Tank Men) Comments on what you think of the controversy would be welcome.

In other news, I’m back to playing Halo 3 again. In my opinion, it’s multiplayer is simply unrivaled as far as gaming goes at this time.
I’ve also been playing a tad of Rock Band. I was playing it with Luis yesterday. (Luis on guitar, myself on vocals) We chose random, and got “Dead on Arrival” by Fall Out Boy. Although a terrible song, we still got 4 stars. Of course, I was singing on easy, so perhaps that doesn’t count.
If you want to play Halo, Rock Band, or Call of Duty with me, my gamer tag is Unifoxx. Feel free to add me, just tell me that you’ve heard of me through my blog.
Also, I’m working on getting the rest of the site up. Please bear with me.
